Korowai Whaimana was an education initiative created in partnership between the Like Minds Like Mine programme, the Human Rights Commission, and people with experience of mental illness. It was designed to empower people to understand and take action on their human rights, including direct and indirect discrimination, reasonable accommodation, the Human Rights Act 1993 and how to relates to other Acts, and how to make human rights complaints.
